Our mission is to make evidence-based meditation and self-regulation practices accessible, practical, and credible for high-performing individuals and organizations.

Who We Are

We are Dr. Roisin Byrne and Dr. Tamara Hoppe  — clinical psychiatrists, educators, and meditation facilitators. As psychiatrists, we are trained to understand the full spectrum of human experience — stress, burnout, anxiety, emotional overload, self-criticism, and resilience. Our medical grounding allows us to create environments that feel informed, attuned, and deeply safe.

Both of us maintain personal meditation practices — helping us navigate life as doctors, mothers, and living the reality of full schedules, competing priorities, and finding imperfect balance.

Bringing meditation into the world as physicians is deeply intentional. We bridge science, evidence and compassion, structure and softness.

At the heart of MD Meditation is a simple but deeply held belief: mindfulness and self-compassion are not luxuries — they are essential tools for living well.
